101_2949.jpgMama and Papa252 viewsThe Orandas crown tends to grow out in long ''dreadlocks'', which eventually seperate and have to be netted. Worried me at first but she's a healthy 3 yrs and 3lbs. Yeah, I actually weighed her last month. She measures 10 inches, half of which is tail. The moor is 4 years and thanx to info I was given here now know why he turned orange and has one eye that is bigger. He measures 9 inches with half of that being tail.DeofelSep 16, 2010

101_2953.jpgMiracle133 viewsFirst Spotted 15 May 2010 and was barely a half inch long. Five months later he / she has already reached four inches not counting the tail. I think of a Ryukin when I look at it but the face is leaning more and more towards the chubby cheeks and fat nose of the Oranda. I can't wait to see what the coloring looks like in a year. :)DeofelSep 16, 2010

101_2964.jpg55 gal tank159 viewsOranda (mama), Orange Moor (papa), and ''Miracle''. The moor is going on 4 years, the Oranda 3, and Miracle is five months old as of Sept 10. There's also a four year old rainbow shark lurking around somewhere, but he's being shy right now. :(
Yep,... the plants are real, I've been tending them for four years now. :)DeofelSep 16, 2010
