I'm new here...
Just wanna to ask, currently now that my tank is empty with no fish inside cos my 2 little goldfish had passed away due to Ich (White Spot) and Rot Tail/Fin. What should I do now before getting new goldfish? What should I do now? Should I change all the water inside the tank or should I leave it?

Hi Mavis, welcome to the forums and sorry to hear about your loss

If the tank is left without fish, as Mearwynna mentioned it would die without a host. I think the time span varies depending on the part of the cycle the ich is in.

I have also heard ich cannot live out of water, so you could always try drying everything out - but do double check this, as I'm not 100% sure how true this is, or how long things need to be dried out for, having never tried it myself.

It will probably be a good idea to do a fishless cycle as others have suggested, unless your tank is already cycled?
Do you know what your water parameters are? I.e. Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and PH levels?

A water test kit would be useful at this point or you could take a water sample to a local store as some offer free testing.
Without testing, you won't be able to know when your tanks completely cycled

API Freshwater Master Test Kit, is what I personally use, being a liquid test kit, it lasts longer than strip tests
Plus should there ever be a time, when your fish are acting up or ill, testing the water is the first thing that should be done as often illnesses and un happiness in fish are caused by poor water quality.

May I ask why you added chlorine!? You should be using a water conditioner to remove this from the tap water, not adding it

Anti-Chlorine? What brand of water conditioner is that? I've not come across one called that 

Try and get a liquid test kit if you can, they work out more cost effective than the strip tests.
If you look up on the threads here about cycling, then you can make sure your tank has cycled before adding any new fish and when you do add fish, test the water every 2 days or so, for the first few weeks, just to keep an eye on the parameters in case of any spikes
