I still can't believe the size of them! It is such a good example of how goldfish growth rate differs from fish to fish Wink

They are lovely though, how big are they Scrivens?

The larger fish is now seven inches nose to tail with a four inch body, the smaller is just over four inches nose to tail.....I shall be moving them from this baby tank(90L) to a bigger home(200L) within the next month or so. ( bank manager willing)' Roll Eyes

Wow 7 inches?! That is huge! I'm sure they'll enjoy their new home ^_^ What tank were you thinking of getting?

Oh thinking of that, Scrivens are you aware that there is an Aquarists Society in North Wales? Perhaps one of the members would have a bargain tank to offer? Always worth asking Smiley

I get my disability pension in about 10 days and it should buy me a Fluval Roma 200add  another 10 days to cycle and I should be up and running by the end of the month (fingers crossed)

250 seems cheap enough will swap out the filter for an upgrade, seapets merely charge the price difference on the filters

Ah yes good old sea pets! If you don't mind me asking what will you do for a stand?

I've seen some rather cheap tanks on Barlows Aquatic Trading - (Link is not visible to guests. Please register to view.)
The only thing is the price is for the tank only, you don't get any lights/filters/stands with them.

Barlows are good value but then again they are a collection only store, so transport costs have to be added
