I notice white tiny worms swimming in my boys tank. I never had this before until I feed them Omega One freeze-dried tubifex worms. Is this just coincidence or is this something serious?  Huh

I had little red worms swimming in my tank this summer but I think it was a larvae of some kind of flying insect?
Well anyway, I guess you could treat the tank with an antiparsitic if you wanted to.  I use something called Paracide. Smiley

It could be mosquito larva.

how many worms are there? how long have they been there? it might be a parasite of some sort, sort of like what Minde suggested

Are those "worms" tiny and white and covering the glass? If so, it is planaria.

I'd clean the glass, siphon the gravel and do a 50% waterchange

The worms were just swimming in the water. When I was doing the water change the other day I managed to siphon most of it.

Interesting information orandalover thank you for the link. I had this problem the last time I had goldfish about 20 years ago and these tiny worms were coming right out the tap! They are harmless for sure but *hurl, they kinda freaked me out  Shocked at the time. Everyone has covered the steps here.
