Well I found my old water conditioner and it only claims to deal with chlorine and heavy metals.
Whereas my Stress Coat says it deals with chlorine, chloramines and ammonia associated with chloramines Smiley

So hopefully no more ammonia problems, once I deal with it this time! I'm on the water changing marathon too now.
I'm aiming to do 30% twice, during the week days and then 50% once, at the weekend. Lucky is currently on a no-food diet, until next Thursday. Hopefully the ammonia will go away this time!

Yeah I change 30%  of the water every other day but my levels are still the same, theyre low but its bothering me!
I hope by sticking to your plan it all works out for you and the ammonia levels decrease! Smiley
Thats a pretty good plan so sure they will! Smiley I feed Carlos just nothing messy and he takes it straight out of my hand so it doesnt float around decreasing the risk of it polluting the tank!
I checked my water conditioner and mine gets rid of ammonia apparently so thats good! Smiley

Yeah me too, it's a pain >.> st*pid ammonia, never have I had such an annoyance with a compound!

Even hoovering today having not fed Lucky since Thursday, there was so much mess in the gravel, honestly, I wonder what she does in there sometimes to make so much mess  Roll Eyes

Maybe I'll go on hoover patrol this week and just make sure I got everything!

This sounds crazy but I think Carlos has mistaken himself for a hamster?  Grin ha! He sleeps and poops in the same corner!? I have to clean his corner on a regular basis, he makes me laugh!  Cheesy

Yep, definitely is a pain! You got that one right! But as Scrivens said once, its a marathon not a sprint, thats what I keep thinking anyway. We'll get there in the end! Smiley

Ah yes scrivens point has made me realise, the poo will most probably float about the tank and then settle in the lowest current area of the tank. So the area's we find it are where the lowest current flow is.

Well that explains a lot, I don't know why I never thought of that before  Grin

She seems to be doing better *hopefully* I've not been in much today, but managed to do a 30% water change when I got home from work. I'll be doing another one Thursday and testing the water too.

But I have hardly seen her gasping, when I have been around or I've seen her swim towards to the surface, but she seems to lose interest and then swim back down. So hopefully, she is feeling a little better. I'm going to get a better indication Thursday when I have more time to sit with her and get a water test done.
