Anyone with Saltwater experience?
« on: March 10, 2012, 07:00:14 PM »

My plans just keep getting bigger. Instead of the 12" betta cube I am now planning a 17" (25 gal) nano reef. I have done a minuscule amount of research and it seems I can keep an anenome, 2 clownfish, a starfish and a hermit crab in this size tank. Can anyone recommend a good saltwater book? Or excellent site? Or just give me pointers?  Smiley While working at a petstore (10 years ago) I maintained saltwater tanks and cared for the fish. Can't be too hard if I could manage at 16. Right?

Oh wow, that sounds like an awesome idea Cheri!

I don't know anything about saltwater tanks, but one of the forums I belong to has a marine section you could check out;

I'm sure from others posts and articles you could gather quite a bit of information without having to make any posts yourself  Wink

There was an article on Anemones in this month's PK magazine. Apparently they require pretty much perfect conditions, and might prove daunting to the novice.
