I was responding the "now   i need a couple of little sturdy coldwater fish for her little tank. Danio's maybe?" by Sarah.
Those are options that she can put in her daughters Little Mermaid tank.

I'd agree with your choices, Dragonii. I've kept guppies myself in a bowl when I was a kid. None of them ever died, and they kept making babies... Shocked
So they're really hardy fish. Same goes for mollies and Platies, both enjoy a tad cooler water than most tropicals, well, as you know Smiley

Danios on the other hand, yes, I've kept them too, Zebra Danios are good beginner fish, but I don't know... I don't feel like they're as forgiving as the aforementioned kinds.

I have a couple of danios in my 6 gallon. They want to swim too much for such a small tank.

White Clouds are what most of those guys doing the nano/pico tanks use.

Yeah, the Minnows were also suggested to be kept in the biorb tanks over here (they come in 4, 8 and 16 gallons among other things), so I guess they make good small-tank mates?
