need help

i have two goldfish and one ois now showing black edges on its fin which it didnt have yesterday any ideas what it is

Have you checked your water parameters for ammonia, nitrite, pH and nitrates?
If not please test your water and post the test results here! Smiley
What size tank do you have?
How many fish in the tank?
What kind are they and how big?
When black just shows up on a fish this is not good and could be possible burns from ammonia present in your tank.
Do you have a filter in your tank, if so, what kind is it?
Do you use a water condtioner?

How long have you had these goldfish?
Are you positive the black edges weren't there before? Minde is probably right about the possible ammonia burns, but your goldfish MIGHT just be developing more color.

Can you post some pictures?

Minde is right !

If it shows up from one day to the other it is ammonia burn, colour develops slowly.

Please test the water ASAP for Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate and pH. And please, please answer Mindes questions, as it is important to us, so we can offer better help.

hiya there,
 can sum1 help me,  1 of my goldfish is not  eating and its always at the bottom of the tank  in the same corner ,also its always pointing  down like if its picking the gravel up with its mouth but its just staying  there and not moving much?

The first thing you should always do when a goldfish is acting funny or just not right is do water tests for ammonia, nitrites, pH and nitrates.  Then a water change according to the test results. Smiley
