I hope they do too!  There is no bottom sitting or stressful acting ones right now.  They are all active and look happy.  The one little one in the second to last photo kept getting in front of the camera posing like that, there were a bunch with him doing it and I thought it was super cute and funny!     He is one of the smallest ones in there but he looks great and is so friendly. 

I love plants and can't wait to get some beauties to put in there, have to get the cycle done first though.  I have done some research about what kinds I can use with just regular lighting so I think I'll have a good start once I can put some in.  I need some rocks or slate also to add a more natural look for the fishies and to attach some Java fern to.   Oh, the endless possibilities!

That was my husbands idea to put the tank like that since we had a storage room on the other side of that wall.  He built a stand in there and set it all up.  Its great to be able to watch the little fishes without having to hear and look at all the equipment.  The only downfall I would say to this type of set up is that its hard to arrange things and get to everything from the back.  Doing water changes isn't that hard but moving things around is tricky since you only have the top view to go by and I usually have to run around and look at it from the front to make sure everything is straight.  lol  Luckily that doesn't need to be done on a regular basis. 

My Java ferns are mostly just planted like regular plants, but I do have a chunk of driftwood with a few ferns growing on it, and a little anubias You should definitely get some Anubias too! They come in three sizes, and they make a great addition to any tank!

Nope, they grow incredibly strong and large root systems They actually grow into the gravel, so it gets this gravel platform that keeps it down at all times! Not to mention that I have about 4cm-7cm of gravel in the tank to keep the plants in place
The more gravel in the tank, the easier it is to keep the plants where they belong

I saw a plant called Onion plant, in one of my books, it's supposed to work really well in tanks with messy and destructive vegetarian fish So I thought, why not goldfish? I'm just waiting for the shops to get some of them They look just like onions!
