bubble eyes and orandas, ryukins, fan tails

can these fish live outside in a pond all year round here in southern california.i no to not feed them as much when water gets to 50 degrees.they are all fat and healthy fish and are ready for winter.the coldest the water gets in the coldest part of winter is 38-40 degrees.i have been told they can from a local fish storebut i think they will tell you anything

What type of goldfish are they? If they are comet and fantail types , then they will do just fine in Southern California.  Many people in New York, New Jersey , and other northern states keep them in outside ponds also so i don't see a problem.

these are bubble eye ,ryukin,oranda goldfish

I live in southern Missouri (zone 6b), and keep Ryukins, Fantails, Black Moors and Telescopes in my pond all year long with no problems. I have tried Orandas but they do not do well in the colder temps, and I think that the Bubble eyes will have even more trouble then the orandas.
