CELEBRATION
« on: September 01, 2010, 04:18:51 AM »

Our Humphrey is not a small boy anymore... hehe... he's growing up to be a man  Grin
Spotted 3 breeding stars on his left gill and he seems to develop some tiny ones on the first ray of his pectoral fins.

I have to admit, VERY hard to see as my eyes are not able to quickly follow his wiggles but as from today am am positive that i've seen them.

Skippy shouldn't be far away, but he's white.... Cheesy

Hanna: Congratulations! Cheesy

Andrea: Bet the goldies will eat the eggs in the first place d: Since they usually lay them in dawn, so unless you're waiting for them to lay eggs, it's pretty hard to save the eggs Smiley

I don't think that Humphrey will start his business straight away  Grin. Also Hepsiba must be ready for it... i dunno when...she's not that round yet  Wink and the other two girls Matilda and Sunshine are too young.

Well and IF it happens... hm... either as Nossie said: they'll eat the eggs.... or IF I can see it then I'll take them out and will do what I'm supposed to do... feed krill and baby shrimp and try to nurse them and give them to a reputable dealer....

BTW: I will have a go to grow some plants for the AQ: Hubby thinks the scratches on the GF tank are awful, so we will replace it soon ( only the tank ) and we will keep it outside with plants....

yeah the glass all over, when we bought it it was hard to see because of the poor light she had, but when we got it inside the car after the lady emptied it we could see the scratches.
We thought, ok, filled with water it shoudn't be too bad... but after having the new tank so pristine...

So with the next pay we'll get the tank only, same size, only AU$ 130 minus 10% Membership discount, sliding glass top... crystal clear no scratches...  this is about 70 Euro.

Big work ahead  Tongue

Why not get something in a more appropriate size for the amount of fish you're keeping? Cheesy That would save you the trouble of upgrading yet again, which you know you'll have to Tongue So if I were you, I'd buy myself at least a 200l tank.

Simple reasons:  Wink
1.The stand and hood we restored has got emotional value to us, so we need exactly the same dimensions
2. No room in this house,  Cry renting only too....

Eventually buying our own... YES then we'll get sth big towards what we've got now  Grin
