I'm looking at 2 different tanks to buy for my goldfish.  They're both 10 gallons which is the recommended size for 1 fish.  One is $20 and comes with a heater, filter (with filter replacements), ick clear, and a emptying tube.  The other costs $8 and is much closer to me but it's just the tank. 

Is the filter and heater recommended?  Which one do you think would be better for my fish?  (For the $8 one I'd clean out by my self)  Huh  Thanks for any suggestions people can give.

Id do the ten dollar one, as you need a filter and usually filters cost a little bit more. And you can al;ways use the heater later if you decide you want a saltwater tank Smiley

The filter one for sure, it's worth the extra money Smiley But where do you live to find tanks so cheap???

I'd go for the $ 20 one as it comes with filter, etc. Normally you don't need heaters for goldfish, but you never know... depending where you live they may help in wintertime to keep the temp stable.

With goldfish it is a MUST to have a proper filter. I'd also invest in an airstone and airpump, as goldfish just LOVE the ride in the bubbles  Grin
