just thought I'd share this experiance for anyone who does have snails and has to treat for parasites, the "Parasite Clear" medication by Jungle was supposed to hurt or kill my Japanese Trapdoor snails according to an aquarium store owner, Jungle Labs tech support, and LiveAquaria.com (where I bought the snails from) support; but after the 3 week treatment, not only did they all survive, but I now have 4 healthy baby snails. They did excrete some white stuff at one point for a couple days, but I don't know if it was related to the meds or the birthing process, which it coincided with. I'm not recommending it for fun or anything, but just to share my experiance, as I thought they'd be goners for sure and they weren't.
