Goldfish compatibility

Hello everyone! I'm new to this site and this is my first time. I recently bought a pair of comet goldfish and a pair of fantail. I just wanted to know that can betta fish live with them? Can betta eat the same food as goldfish? The packaging of the fish food which I use says that it's for both betta and goldfish, but I'm still not sure. Please reply Huh.

Goldfish and Bettas can't live together for a number of reasons:
- Bettas are very aggressive, if he decides that he doesn't like the company, he'll kill it.
- Goldfish like hard water with high pH, and bettas enjoy the opposite.
- They eat completely different things: Bettas are carnivores, goldfish are omnivores, they need their veggies!

How big is that tank? To accommodate four goldfish you need at least 40-50 gallons and up.

goldfish are tolerant of a wide range of temperatures. What is important is the avoidance of sudden temperature changes. When performing water changes always match the temperature of the "new" water to that of the tank. If the tank is located in a cold room, a thermostatically controlled heater may be used

you will be needing to get a bigger tank for your goldfish very soon, they won't survive very long in a 10g tank

Goldfish enjoy a wide range of temperatures, but like scrivens said, it's more important that it stays consistent.

Do please consider a bigger tank, a 10 gallon is too small for one adult goldfish even :/
