Koi or Gold fish

We went away for a week, and found over a doz. small fish in our Koi pond. We paid a nieghbor girl to feed them 2-3 times a day. Our fish are over 2yrs old, but the fish store says that they don't usually spawn until they are over 18". We have 2 that are about 12-14". They said we could have some one playing a joke on us. We live in the country and there for did not tell anyone when we would be gone, except two of our son's that both live 30 miles in other directions.
In the last 2 wks I now have 4 orange/black, 1 orange/white, and 5 or more black. Our other Koi are white with alittle black, and the two others are orange and black.
The fish store said to expect 5% life from the eggs. So if they had 200, 9-12 would be what I should expect.
We need expert advise ----A joke or did they spawn--they have grown to 1"-1-/2" in the last two weeks

Hmm that's interesting, on this website it says the fish have to be aged 2 - 4 year olds.

So it could be that your fish have bred
