Toys/Things for Goldfish to keep them entertained??

hi, i was just wondering if there are any products out there that could be used as "Toys" for goldfish, i set up my new tank on the weekend and my comets love playing with the air bubbles, they go there and sometimes a big bubble blows them to the top of the tank, at first i thought they were scared but they keep going back for more. I wanna know what else they could play with to keep themselves and us entertained!!!

Hey,
The only thing that I know of is these kits, though they are probably more of a training kit rather than a toy.

I have never used it before, but it looks really interesting and a lot of people have had results with them Smiley
I think you can only buy them online though.

Lol Andrea's answer makes a lot more sense then mine and will keep goldfish much more entertained. But I still think it would be cool to try that kit Smiley

I think you should let the goldfish entertain themselves Wink As you see, they're quite creative going to play with the bubble stream Smiley And like Andrea suggested, live plants are great! Or growing some algae on the tank walls... maybe a big chunk of driftwood would be nice too Smiley Just be sure that it doesn't have any sharp edges! I've got a mopani wood that is pretty rounded and gnarly and the fish love grazing algae off of it and playing around behind it Wink

And algae wafers! Just toss one in and your fish will be busy for a good while! Cheesy

Plants, food ( algae pellets = fish-viagra ) and a bubble bar (= fish-spa)

And an ornament is always good that they can swim through or hide in Smiley

Yeah, swim though logs and stuff are fun for them!  I just put an air stone in my swim through log so they can swim through the bubbles too! Cheesy
I have to admit those training toys are entertaining.  If I had 1 goldfish and way too much time on my hands I might consider getting something like that. Roll Eyes

Thanks everyone for the replies,  i tried giving them a frozen pea yesterday to vary their diet but they never touched it, are bloodworm pellets safe for goldfish?

Did you thaw, shell and mashed the pea, or at least cut it into tiny pieces?

When I fed peas the first time they only looked at it and ignored it, so I fed flakes too, but next thing they ate the peas as well... fooled me...  Roll Eyes

Bloodworm pellets, even betta pellets are fine to feed goldfish as a treat.
Goldfish eat almost anything! Smiley
