Feeding Oats?
« on: May 08, 2012, 08:47:14 AM »

I read somewhere that goldfish can be fed oats. Is this true? If so, do I soak them, mash them? Quick oats, or old fashioned?
Im trying to give plenty of variety in their diet, and I know oats are generally healthy.

Comments?

Thanks!

No, don't do it. Goldfishes' digestive tracts aren't made to digest oats.

Stick to vegetables and seaweed if you want similar theme, and don't forget to feed them blood worms or shrimp every once in a while Smiley
