Hi I have 2 comets and 2 fancies in my tank. I have a problem with my female comet, I actually noticed that she was gettin rather large around her back end and a closer inspection told me she carrying lots of eggs. Well my male comet and the 2 fancies are all males and they have been bothering her for a couple of weeks now, she has been very stressed and her tail has been damaged! I have taken her out of the main yank and she is in her own now. Have I done the right thing by taking her out of the tank?? and when can I put back with the other fish?? Please help...... p.s I do not want babies, but if it happens then so be it. thanks guys!

Goldfish tend to eat their eggs, so you don't have to be too worried about getting fish babies d:

Although, it might be good keeping her separated from the other guys for her own safety! It's quite stressful being chased around like this, especially if her tail got wounded... :C
