HAPPY BIRTHDAY!YAY! All nine babies made it to 2 weeks, DAY14 This will be the last day we start out with Liquid Fry for breakfast! The only reason I fed it today is because of the 2 laggers in development, but it is hardly sustainable for the bigger babies. Our new menu will be: 6 AM Hikari Rotifers (frozen) 9 AM HBH Fry Food 12 PM Baby Brine Shrimp(frozen 3 PM Hikari First Bites 6 PM Hikari Rotifers 9 PM Baby Brine Shrimp 12 AM Vitaline Treat: Spiralina some time during the day. Alright so we made it to Day 14 which is a new milestone and the babies are starting to "chase" each other a bit and swim in a small school now, at times, which is really cute to watch. I hope they continue to grow fast to the next milestone which I think would be 1 month! Pictures to follow later today!

CONGRATULATIONS and [/b] been without internet for 2 days as the storm damaged the router, had to get a new one. But everything else is ok and I am glad nothing more happened with hailstones about 2cm in diameter... Have to catch up with lots of reading on here and Minde you are awesome, phantastic, an excellent and exemplary fish mom. I thank you for sharing this adventure with us, I'd like to give you thousands of Karma at once if that would be possible. I enjoy every single post in this thread, besides it is so informative it is also so much joy to follow up. Haven't got goldfish fry yet, but I better be prepared one day it will happen. I'd say Humphrey, Hepsiba and Skippy must be about 1 year old, maybe a tad too young yet....

DAY 16Here we are and it is Day 16. Yes, they are still tiny, 1/4 of an inch or a bit longer with the big ones maybe. Yesterday they were so fat!! Stuffing themselves with food again so I imagine another growth spurt is in order. Something very funny is when I put the cup in the water they actually swim into it. LOL! Omg 16 days old and they know a trick already!LOL! I don't have to chase them much, as they are probably very tame from me always sticking my hands in there. They probably will get use to the marble. It's so funny they swim towards it and then make a wide arc and swim away. LOL! Such funny little buggers. Ok, pictures to follow later.....

DAY 17WOW! I can't wait to take pictures later today! I just hope I am able to capture how advanced they've become developmentally. How they have cute little dorsal and pectoral fins. How much they have grown in length just since yesterday! They are longer than the marble now! even the "lagger" is growing a bit. I saw them poop for the first time, yesterday! I know they pooped before but now I can see it! They are shinnier, so they must have tiny scales starting to develope? Their little bodys have a glint, reflective look under the flashlight now. They look like they are in need of a bigger home. I've chosen a 15 gallon tank to use, it is a long tank. I think it will work fine, but I'm scared they won't be able to handle the filtration yet! I have a sponge filter but am afraid that they will be sucked into the sponge. I think I have to wait one more week and then they will be ready for sure. I will post pictures later this afternoon!
