They ate smushed up flakes for the first time today!! They ate the "crumbs" but totally ignored the big pieces. Tonight for supper I am going to try the frozen daphnia!! I'm so excited at the prospect of maybe moving them to a real aquarium. I might move them January 1ST! I'm thinking of just moving the bigger ones and leaving the smaller ones in the tub to still eat micro-foods until they are bigger. Please let me know your thoughts on this! Thank you again....all of you...for your support! I really appreciate you viewing my babies as they grow and posting!! It means alot to me!

Omg you can very obviously see the different colourings now hehe. There is quite a large difference in size between the smaller ones and the bigger ones...Or is that just the way the photo makes it look? I think that it is a good idea to move the larger ones so then they have some more room to swim (not that they probably need much room because there so small!) But it would be nice Also because you have to feed them different food it would probably make it easier for you having them in separate tanks xD

DAY 27A funny thing happened when I fed the babies daphnia for the first time. They started chowing it down like crazy and then they all stopped mid swim and spit all the daphnia out...LOL! I swear their little faces showed a shocked expression "What!?! where are the usual Baby brine shrimp? and what is this new stuff you are throwing in here now!" I could almost here them say this. Then one by one they decided to try one daphnia at a time and munched on it forever trying to decided if it was Yum or not! LOL Well I decided not to put them in the aquarium yet, after all tomorrow New years, January 1st is only 28 days!! I do think a month means at least 30 days! I want to give them 2 days extra growth. Here are pictures from today.

HAPPY NEW YEAR DAY 28I'm trying new foods on the babies and they will eat crushed adult flakes. I am feeding them adult food twice a day and the rest of the time their micro foods. They are just starting to accept new food so I am thrilled to say the least. Still rejecting any bigger pieces and like to eat the micro foods the best. Altho, I've seen them start to pick at the bigger pieces that land on the bottom of the tub now. I remove any uneaten food and waste before every feeding. They are just so darn cute and friendly!! I'm amazed how much they seem so glad to see me when I check on them every so often between feedings. I know, I know I'm just the food machine but I like to think they like more than that LOL! Here are pictures for DAY 28!
