need help

 Smiley  also  i  have  got  a  air pump  , i ve  got  two  gold fish  a  golden  gromeand a silver  one  not  sure  i  spelled  that  right. i,m  worried  about  the  rocks.  wish  i  would  have  posted this  before  i  got  them don,t  want too kill them. i  had  a gold fish we  called  him flipper he done good had him four three months he  died also when i cleaned the tank.  Cry

Goldfish can live 10 years or more so if your goldfish only lived 3 months, you need to figure out what you are doing incorrectly if you want your goldfish to live a long and happy life.
What size is your tank?
You say you have an air pump but do you also have a filter?
Do you test your water for ammonia, nitrites, pH and nitrate levels?
If so, what are the results of the tests.

A 15 gallon is really only suitable/safe for 1 goldfish even if they are just little as they grow like weeds when fed a healthy diet. Would love to see some pics of your fish, post some if you can  Cheesy Minde is correct, post your test readings so you can receive advice accordingly.

How did you clean the tank when this happened?
Do you know about the nitrogen cycle?

And please test the water as Minde suggested asap and post us the numerical results.

Hanna: In an earlier thread she mentioned that she cleaned the rocks in a bucket that she had used for mopping. Pretty sure that introduced some toxic chemicals to the tank Undecided

 Smiley the  two  fish  i have  are  golden  and  a  silver  gourami.  the  ph  level  is 7.2 . they  semed  too being  very  well the  golden  gourami  chases  the  silver  on.  i  love  too watch them  and  i  am  going to get  a  bigger  tank i want  more  fish, i want  some angel fish.

yes  i  made the  mistake  of  using  a  mop  bucket  too  clean  the  rocks.  i   washed  it  out  i  learned  a  lesson from  doing  that   killed my  fish  i had  for  several  months and  new ones  also

But either way, as you learned, flower, use a bucket "for fish only" and no detergents, only water as mentioned before. And your darling fishes will be fine Wink

You know, most gouramis are pretty territorial, and in the end one of them will probably get killed. We had two three-spot gouramis in our 100L tank last year, and one of them got bullied to death by the other Undecided By the time I removed the corpse (WHEN I FINALLY FOUND IT! D8) there was only the skull and spine left...

they told  me  at  the  pet  store  they were goldfish  lol . i  went  on  line and  found  out  they  were  tropical fish.but  i  killed  some goldfish that  i  had. they also told  me they  were peacefull fish darn they  gold one  is bulling  they  other  fish, i  wonder  if  i could  but a angel  fish  in there?

I think the easiest thing for you to do is to post pictures of these fish. In the Fish Identificaion-section of the forum, that way we could help you identify these fish for sure! And give you suggestions on tank mates Smiley
