My son had 2 goldfish i was aware when he go them i would be responsible for cleaning supervision ect he is 8yrs old and fish are the only thing we know he isn't allergic to. Sadly one fish died tonight ? swim bladder. Do i need to do a water change or do anything special to the tank for the remaining fish. Can i introduce another fish to the tank will it be safe.
Thankyou.

How large is the tank? How often and how much water do you change?

That tank is WAY to small for one fish, let alone two. Please get your remaining fish a 20 gallon tank and don't get any more until you research proper goldfish care. What do you mean you "clean the filter"? You should not be rinsing or cleaning the filter with tap water ever.
