Fish color names?

I have 4 comet gold fish,or at least that's what I've been told they are. A little guy with a red dot, a big black and yellow one, an orange and white and a orange/red one. But I'm curous about what the colors they are are called. I've seen a list, but some of them, like my big dark and white one and the one with the red dot don't really seem to match discriptions. I'm a nood to goldfish so forgive me if this Q has an obvious asnwer.

From it looks like the red one actually is a common rather than a comet, the rest look sort of like comets though. The orange/white color is called "Sarasa" (in comets) for no reason c:

Sorry there Nossie, my bad. >.<; Like I said, I looked over your list and it did'nt really match a few of them so....yeah. At least I know that the orange ones a regular goldie. I just realized as you said it he does look a little different...

The others are just two-colored, and as mentioned in the list, the one with the red dot is a tancho, or red crane Smiley
In the end, they're all simply goldfish, so it's not necessary to know all the names and terms used in connection with their looks and colors unless you just want to sound like a geek x'D
It takes some time to figure them all out if there aren't clear pictures, and I might not have added enough examples on the list...

Ah yeah, I saw the Tancho one. Smiley Lol It's o.k....I already feel like I sound like a geek when I talk about tarantulas and know some of the scientific names and all that. Like spider geek. But now I may end up being a fish geek before too long.

I've been a fish geek all my life :'D Didn't get any until I was about 10-11 though, and my first own goldfish when I turned 18. Kept a community tank at my parent's place and needed something sweet when I was away from home Wink Well... you see how that unraveled... xD I'm spending more money on my fish than on myself... D:
