floating fish
« on: January 14, 2011, 07:18:43 AM »

Hi My goldfish Swimmy has been living in a 1 and a half gallon tank since 2008. He has always floated upside down since I bought him.  Today I noticed   2  red spots  on him.  I  moved his tank and  put new water in. He doesnt act to well. I have tried my best to keep him alive for he belongs to my 5 year old son.

I agree with Creamkiller. After not feeding the fish for a few days, you could try feeding it with frozen peas that you thaw and pop out of their shells before feeding.

BUT, GET THE BIGGER TANK FIRST!!!!!

Correction: 20 gallon for one fish. There's enough water, but not enough space for an adult goldfish in a 10 g.
