Happy Easter everyone! (:
Hanna: It's the first time I actually see your tank from this angle, what an interesting shape! Is it an acrylic tank?

Hi Nossie, no my tank is glass, my hubby and me liked it because there are no edges at the front, the glass is made in one piece, not glued together. It is the AquaOne380 from the AquaStyle Series. It is actually a U.K. product.

Thanks Nossie,
yes we did and first I thought it was an acrylic one, because of its shape but later I discovered that it is glass,
when I read the instruction leaflet properly, lol, I hate those instruction booklets which come with almost all gear you buy... be it for your mobile, or some kitchen stuff, Tv, etc... I prefer to figure it out by myself how to put things together

Same here! Unless it's something that needs assembly d:
When I got my orb I was reading the instructions for days and days and days! It's almost broken now :C
And they were explaining things in a rather bad way. They didn't talk about cycling the tank or "new tank syndrome" as such, but as: "if you add more than one goldfish per month they'll poison themselves with the ammonia they produce." o_O
Which was rather st*pid.
I miss my babies :'c (I'm at my parents' house.)

I'm glad to be back hom ewih my precious babies. I came home and noticed that Tiger had some white stuff on his head. very faint. At first I began freaking out, but then I realized its prolly just his head developing. We'll see what happens.

We always greet our fishies, too. My husband insists on calling them "Fishy dudes".

Katarine, I hope all is ok with Tiger.
Nicole, yes we cannot do without greeting our babies, and "Fishy dudes" sounds cute, too.
Also in the mornings when we leave, I'll say sth like "see you tonight Hump and Hep" and I go to the tank and blow a little kiss onto the glass... sounds silly, but they are sooooo sweet when thy come to the front paddling with their little fins and open and close theit little cute mouth
... would love to tickle their tummys

"Hump and Hep" that's so incredibly cute!!
For lulz, I set the tank up today (: I filled it about halfway with tank water from the cycled tank.
And guess who found an adorable telescope fish today? :'c I just loved him so I brought him home, named him Mr. Popo, and put him in a salt bath :'c *I'm so weak*

We're looking for that perfect, healthy comet to take home so Sunshine has a pal. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to find a female so at least one of our boys can help make some baby fishies.

Nicole: When I visited the aquarium store last time they had a tank full of beautiful young sarasa comets (: A few commons and telescope fishes and a lovely little redcap oranda.
I didn't really care for comets before but they are incredibly pretty in person (:

We saw this beautiful comet at the pet store, but several of the fish in that tank had ich, and I told my husband, "If one has it, they all probably have it." I do hope they get better.
Today we had a thunderstorm and unplugged the lights and such, and the fish used their early bedtime to practice their spawining-chasing on each other.
Sunshine was the target of several attempts, but he could out-swim the poor shubunkins, and they finally gave up, exhausted.

Another thing to think of is that fishes in other tanks may get it too, because you never know where they moved the fish from one tank to the other. Poor things, let's hope they get better.
Yeah, and comets are cute
, lol, see our Hump and Hep
