Goldfish for my tank?

I currently have a 25 gallon with 55 gallons filtration. with my current heater and such it stays about 82 degree's its fully cycled and ready for new fish. I currently have 3 corydoras in it.

I know if I got goldfish the heater would need removed as well as the corydoras.

But with minor changes would this be a good option for a single fantail goldfish? I know they are weak swimmers and with double filtration there is a current in my tank. I am currently considering Tropical fish as well as coldwater

I'm assuming that you mean US gallons ? which would be about 95 Litres

That will be fine for 2 young fancy g0oldfish , they are social fish, so best get two.Filtration sounds fine to me

However you would need to move them on to a bigger tank in time. I have two baby Ryukin in that size of tank , they are about 10/11 months old, I WILL be moving them up to a larger tank( at least 180 L  ) in the new year.

The guidelines for Fancy Goldfish:
30 gallons (36 US gallons, 140 litres) for the first fish with an extra 10 gallons (12 US gallons, 45 litres) for each extra fish. The tank needs to have a minimum length of 3 feet to allow swimming room.

Beware! these boys are tiny when you get them but they grow like heck, given the right conditions they can grow to be 10 or more inches long

I know they are suggested to have 29 gallons each But I would like to give this tank to just one fish. And I have a 40 long but I converted it into a hamster cage since I didnt like the upkeep we are moving to an apartment so I had to downsize this is as big as I can go.

You could easily keep two fancies in that tank, and you could leave the heater and the corys in it as well!
I've had albino corys with fantails for years and years, they age well together and don't harass each other Smiley (If you buy big enough algae wafers, the corys will get their share of food)

You could probably keep the goldfish there for a few years without having to upgrade.

I didnt think Goldfish could stand 82 degree water ...

But if the tank doesnt sell and I cant find goldfish I like I do have a backup stocking ... 1 betta 3 guppies 6 Ghost shrimp

Goldfish do prefer temperature in the mid-high seventies actually, if it's as hot as 82 degrees they will need a whole lot more oxygen, and hotter water contains less oxygen.

With your back up stocking.... I didn't think Betta's could be compatible with guppies?

I don't see why they wouldn't, aside from their water quality needs. Bettas prefer acidic water and guppies like hard water.
Then there's always the risk of the guppies badly nipping the bettas fins, they tend to do that :/

I thought that Bettas couldn't be put with fish that have fancy fins, like Guppies, because they see them as a threat?

No, it depends on the betta what fish they'll accept. It's usually a good idea to introduce the betta last so that he won't have time to get territorial. Colors are a bigger problem really, some bettas can be hostile to fish with similar coloration as themselves.
