New Fish!!

I have just got a new fish
and am unsure what he is
I would be greatful if anyone could tell me as I have looked on the internet and can see any that are the ame as him. I am new to this so might just have miss it.
Please what is my fish

Looks like a fantail, either calico or tri-colored (hard to tell), does he/she have shiny metallic scales? Or are they matte? Kinda of a special-looking fish with the dark eyes. Congrats.

Hi, Thanks for the help, he (I call him a he anyway!) has shiny metallic scales, especially on his head and gills.

A mix of shiny and matte is called narcreous. Have you named him yet?

Definitely a fantail, as you've already cleared up
It's sometimes confusing since even fantails can have such different tails and body-shape

His name is Sharky and my black moor is George from the cartoon Sharky and George loved it when I was a kid and felt right for the names of my frist fish.
