Both things would kill the fish, I mean, a feeder fish lives in the overcrowded tank until someone buys it, and if that someone is a n00b who doesn't know about the nitrogen cycle, the fish will die from stress and probable disease from the previous tank anyway. And that's why one shouldn't buy a feeder fish as a first fish, because they're usually carrying a load of parasites and infections already by the time you bag it and bring it home. Of course, you can make a feeder fish happy in a tank and live for years, but for that, you need to know what you're doing.
