OrandaLover: If there is a Walmart Store near you they sell this item for around $32.00. I was going to get one but my husband told me I need the 50 feet hose. Walmart only carries the 25 feet hose.

Aimee that is wonderful information.  I was looking into getting something to make it easier on us for water changes as well.  Will check that one out.  That was a funny story, hubby had it happen to him on the saltwater tank and I laughed till I cried.   Grin

The shake it up and down use to work on our tanks when the tube was short and going right into a bucket but we run the hose outside or to the utility sink now and I guess the tube being so long now it won't work like that anymore.   You have to do the suck the hose to get it going. Btw, kids work great for this I figured out. lol

OrandaLover if you do regular water changes and matneince you could have them in a 30 gallon oh and with a strong filter. Undecided

Ok guys: problem solved, but in a ... sad.... way... bout of ich in the tank, and only Pebbles and the new Crown Pearlscale, Diabolitio, survived... now it's two goldies in a 20 gallon and i'm still changing the water 1x a week
