Bill and Ted's Bogus Experience

Hello, in the past few days my fishies have got a bit sick. They aren't swimming, aren't eating and are generally just sitting in the bottom of the bowl. There's also a kind of white veil over them. I think it's velvet. Got some Melafix, hopefully that will sort them out before they get into their new 64 L tank!

Did you test the water? How is Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, pH and temp?
Did you do a waterchange?
Do you have Piamfix too?

I completely changed the water when I got the filter, but I don't think the filter is worked very well. May be that the plant has brought something into the water, may be that that water just got bad cos the filter was crap...who knows? I only got the Melafix, they told me it could cover all anyway. How long should it be for there's an improvement. I'm so excited to see them in their new tank!

What kind of filter do you have, what filter media do you use?
How are the waterparameters: AMMONIA< NITRITE<NITRATE<pH< TEMPERATURE ? ? ?
Is there a reason that you changed the whole water?
Did you clean the filter too?
According to Pimafix: THIS is the remedy for bacterial and fungal infection. Melafix is the remedy to repair wounds and tissue. You can use both.
Do you have beneficial bacteria to add?
Do you have water conditioner?
