growth around eyes and face

i have an oranda gold fish and it looks like he cant see from the growth around his head and face.is it tru that the tissue can be carefully cut back and that the fish has no feeling there?

Yes, the tissue or growth can be trimmed back. There are no nerve endings or blood vessels in these tissue. Look in the General Discussion forum, there should be a thread about Smoky the oranda with a video about how to trim the areas back.
