one fantail died about 2 weeks ago and i think it has infected another one in the tank as he is not moving very much. i got this fantail that died from the pet store.
what are the chances that the whole tank has been infected and that all my fish will pass away and how do i check for disease in a fish?

Chances are youre whole tank is infected. The way to check a fish a is to see if its swimming or acting crazy or something that looks out of place. You could just move your animals into a hospital tank and then treat them.

The dorsal fin going down is one of the signs of stress and sickness. When your fish hides and becomes anti-social, this is another sign that they don't feel well.
