My fish LOVE algae tablets. They go crazy for them when I drop them in the tank!

Bleh, frozen baby mice... when I was at the pet shop at some point they had some big, fat maggots that you could buy as food for lizards and the like. They were twisting around in the box, falling off the rocks there and... bleh. They were a bit creepy d:

My friend has a pet snake and seeing it eat one of those frozen rats (thawed out) was one of the grossest things I have ever seen. Now it has gotten so big it has moved onto rabbits!!
Nossie: Haha I would love to have a pet gecko but the idea of feeding them those live, disgusting bugs is what's stopping me

mmmm maggots.. not! those are nasty little guys. I tried to hatch one once. Mine died lol
and YES! I do NOT reccomend people eating algae wafers! they taste strangely like a spinach salad that was in the fridge too long.

LOL
I got some fish flakes from the lady who sold us the aquarium yesterday. They are flakes for ALL fish.
Never seen Humphrey and Hepsiba gobbling it down that quick. They were in a race after them flakes...

oh! thats good! I mixed a bunch of foods together to create a well rounded meal for Tiger and Sonorus (I tried flakes and pellets with Obi, still not eating), anyway, the pellets are all gone, as well as the bloodworms and the torn up tubifex worms I threw in there. prolly gonna grind up algae pieces and throw them in there later.

Did you ask in the pet shop why he's not eating?
He can't be that stubborn after moving from there to your home where he's got paradise

Whow!!! The thread is pretty alive. I love the stories about spiders. We have a superstition in our culture that you should not kill a spider. Can't say I love them either.
OKey. I bought some blood-worms yesterday. I hope the fishes will like that.

Hi Igor,
Nice to hear from you!
We have a spider superstition too in that if you step on one and kill it it will rain!
Your fish should love the bloodworms!

Well, among that chat I manage to fish some useful info about fish.
Our superstition is more cruel, by the way. If you kill a spider a person will die, more over there is no need to kill a spider as it brings good news into house. Well, thanks yoda we don't have any poisoning spiders in Ukraine/Russia (like tarantula), so no big deal.

Hi Igor, how are you?
It is interesting to learn about all different cultures how they see and interprete certain things.
This forum is very alive. Even with our chats in between about other small things, we share lots of info about our fishies. Sure you'll take some time eventually and read the other posts too. You are welcome to comment on those
