Okay today Molly came under with some fin rot.
I moved her into the quaritine tank and I treated with aquarioum salt.
I'm just wondering if I did something wrong.

That all sounds good to me. Just remember that tropical fish can't tolerate as much salt as a goldfish can, so sometimes it's a good idea to use meds for them if it gets out of control. However I think you did fine. Just keep a close eye on her.

I'd treat her with some actual anti-bacterial medicine, try some by tetra or (bactopur) by sera, love those!
But since you noticed and started treating already, I bet Molly will be just fine

Just keep an eye on her and make sure you feed her really nutritious foods while she's being treated

Nossie has a good point; nutrition is essential while a fish is trying to recover.
Fin rot takes a while to clear up so just be patient.
