We have a medium sized fresh water tank, with 2 feeder fish and two goldfish in it at the moment...
The Goldfish are different types- unsure what gender or varieties they are- one is a paler orange, the other more of a reddish/orange, and recently when i have fed them, i have noticed that the smaller reddish fish chases the larger paler goldfish, and seems to push it around a bit... I have since noticed that the goldfish who's being bullied is missing a few scales and its fins and tail are all tattered.
We were given the 'problem' fish by a friend because it was bullying their other fish aswell...
Anyone with any clues would be great!!




not sure how many litres the tank is.. its 18" x 10".... and the goldfish are 4" - (the bully), and 5" - (the paler larger 1)..

.....just an added thought - could it be that they might be male & female and are trying to mate? I dunno!!


and im pretty sure the larger paler goldfish is a comet.....

i have realy big concern 2 as i really am at a loss with my pink n white goldfish and why it bullies 3 of my darlin goggled eye fish, it is not to do wiv mating just plain bullying in my opinion. its got to the point where i av 2 seperaate bully from the others so they can rest easy for a while. can anyone lighten on this subject plssssee!!
 

If the tank is quite bare, maybe consider putting some fake plants in there so that the other fish can hide when he starts his bullying.
