It is Macropore filter media, rechargeable, reusable.

Aslo got a waterconditioner which REMOVES chlorine, chloramine, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, hydrated lime, copper, zinc.

I started to use it yesterday, will keep you guys updated with test results too.  Grin
