hey everyone!! :D
« on: August 02, 2010, 04:55:17 AM »

hey guys,

well as some of you know i havent been on here much since i lost my large male oranda (cried so badly that my other half got very scared), so i thought it was time i got back on here.

well heres a update!

as some of you know my and my otherhalf have just brought our first home and we moved in just over a week ago! still living in boxes but its going really well. we moved the fish over last sunday! they behaved well the whole time and are loving being the center of attention in our living room. we both have nieces and nephews who love to just sit and watch them haha my fish are loving all the attention!

as i said above, i havent been on here since my male died but on a bright note we have 2 new female orandas. one is 2.5 inches long and a beautiful golden/orange colour named tango and i have a 1 inch redcap named pearl (as she is slightly pink in bright lights)! both of them are getting on great! quite funny watching my big 6 inch male next to the 1 inch haha the size difference is so funny!

i will post pics soon (once my living room doesnt look like a complete mess)

hope everyone is ok and that all the fish out there are doing well! nicole i hope your new arival is doing well too! Smiley

katie (very proud mommy of: katie, shellby, bob, trouble, smudge, tango and pearl   (and munch the plec) haha

Katie: It's not that far Smiley I happen to live close a pretty big city and that's where I move now to be closer to my job Wink (I'm an apprentice at a tattoo studio for now!) So it takes about 45 mins to an hour to get there from my parents' place Smiley

I also put the first layer of varnish on the beautiful cabinet for my tank Smiley It should be ready sometime this week and then I'll be putting the tank together Wink

Hanna: Pics shall be comin'!!

Hahaha this is so true... I always am scared they may get sucked up with the siphon, as they are not frightened at all of it, perhaps because they always recognize mummys hands and know food, food, food Grin
