Hello! I have two fish called Pearl and TIki. What fish do you have, what are they called, what do they look like and what decorations do u have?

Pearl is orange with a silvery white tail tip and muzzle.
Tiki is a lighter orange with a black tail tip.
THey are some sort of goldfish (Im not sure what sort)
I have a hollow log, a blue plastic sea anemone and a live plant in my tank.

I have two fantail goldfish named Pearl and Patinka.

Pearl is all white
Patinka is all orange with white spots.
I have a spongebob squarepants pineapple, lots of rocks and two plants. One thats pink that glows in the dark and one small green plant.
They are kept in a ten gallon tank and they are doing great.

Littlefishy if you post a pic on this page i will help you identify what type of goldfish they are.

We have 5 comets: Humphrey, he is orange; Hepsiba, she's orange with white belly and white fins; Skippy, he is white with a few red spots; Matilda, this girl has got shubunkin colours; and our Sunshine, she is wild coloured. Grin

Decorations and plants: pics can be seen in the "photo and video" section Wink

They get flakes, crisps, pellets, bloodworms, peas, watermelon, strawberries, orange-pulp, brine shrimp.

In another tank we keep a betta: Barbarossa; 2 corydoras: Cory and Dora; 10 neon tetras: Itsy, Bitsy, Teeny, Weeny, Fipsi, Fopsi, Mipsi, Mopsi, Tipsi, Topsi.
Yesterday we set up tank No.3 in a fe weeks it will be a home for a schoal of guppies. Grin

...no names for them yet, but there will be... Wink

LOL,

once you start with fish, you get the bug.... cannot go past a pet shop without going inside and have a look at tanks and at their LFS.

BTW, we discovered a shop which makes Designer Tanks, .... all custom made.... WOW Roll Eyes

I have three goldfish

5 year old Nemo who is a red and white fantail,
1 year old Fanta who is an orange comet,
and little Bubbles who is an orange and white pearlscale.
In the tank I have a hollow log ornament, 5 or so live plants and of course gravel for the bottom of the tank Cheesy

I've got 8 fancy goldfish

And an 83 gallon for them to live in.

The first three fish I got were fantails, Cream, Honey and Fläckis (=Spot, sometimes called "Calico") respectively white, red and calico

Then I bought a black moor by the name of Mr. Popo...
After him I got my two Orandas, a chocolate one named Claymore, and a white and red one called Raspberry (or simply Berry)
Then I have a kind of... "rusty" pom pom, Horus and another small calico fantail called Samantha (or Sammy)

I have too many goldfish to mention. I'm a fish hoarder according to my dear husband. My first six goldfish were 2 fantails, 1 black moor, 2 orandas, 1 red/white ryukin.

Calico Fantail= Daisy ( is a boy) Grin

Fantail= Fifi
Ryukin= Sandee
Oranda= Lily & Lucky
Black Moor= Miki

Now I have pandas, china dolls, telescope, and ranchus

I should introduce my new moor that I bought a few weeks ago too! Cheesy

Noticed he wasn't mentioned before

He's called Mr. Big (or Nurgle) and is about 3 inches long

As for decor, I'm doing it quite natural, I've got a big piece of Mopani driftwood, anubias, java fern and some big, pretty plants that I forgot the name of d: There are also lots of pebbles, some green Feng Shui pebbles included d: They symbolize health and whatnot d:

I have sad news. Tiki has passed away. Cry

I cried going to school. We thought Pearl was dead (Or dying) as she was on her side gasping, but i coul;dn't do anything. Anyway, when i was at school, my mum bought 2 replacement fish that looked sort of like Tiki and Pearl but WAY smaller. When she got home she found PEARL WAS ALIVE HURRAY!!! So now we have three fish.

That is their names.

We buried Tiki in a shoebox that evening. Cry

Just one question: I have heard of many breeds of goldfish but never the "china doll" breed. What does it look like? Just curious.

I currently have 7 fancy goldies:

2 fantails (one calico and one orange and black tancho) named Pyrite and Citrine

3 orandas (a blue, a chocolate and white, and a red cap) named Mithril, Amber, and Opal

1 black moor named Onyx

1 ranchu named Jade (nicknamed Panda Puff)

My tank is decorated with white gravel, 2 roman colosium posts, and a ton of huge plastic plants.

I've got six living in a 20 gallon long tank (yes, I know, way too small, but I'm playing it by ear to see how everything turns out!:)
Also: I'm not sure for most of these whether they're male or female, so what I put is just what I THINK they are...

Zodiac: Red-cap female Oranda

Pebbles: Silver and gold calico(?) female

Batal: Male Black Moor

Nugget: copper gold male (not sure if he's a common or just a not so fantailed fantail Huh

)

Jingle: Orange-cap male (not sure if he's an Oranda or a fantail)

Jenga: Orange-cap female (again, not sure if she's an Oranda or a fantail)
Sadly, Jenga's sick right now... Sad

i think so
the person at the pet shop sai for only 2, but tiki and pearl were not exactly small fish.
they were medium

but, tiki2 and mimi are TINY so im pretty sure, yes

Alright, in that case it probably isn't. How big exactly is the tank??
And the size on the goldies now doesn't matter, you should always think about how big they'll grow later! Which is usually 6-8 inches give or take for most varieties.
