sorry for confusion i misclicked on posting and inserted some of my post in middle of yours. sorry new to this site. so its all a jumbled mess.
i think you are in a different part of kansas but that the stores are probably owned by same people. my store is now petword but was known as fins feathers and fur. they are moving at begining of year also.

By the way, let me say "Welcome fellow Kansan to this forum" also known as "Fish Hoarder Club", MTS" (Multi Tank Syndrome). Wink
Now I see what you mean most likely it's own by the same people. I always wanted to go to Pet World everytime we go to Wichita. Can you tell me the address?

Hi. Thanks so much for the compliments. feel like i hijacked pappys thread, sorry.

I feed saki hikari 3 times day
Frozen bloodworms once day
Thawed and shelled frozen peas once every 3-4 days
Canned tuna in water chopped up tiny and cooked pasta chopped tiny, I  substitute pellet food twice a week with these (both per advice of a breeder that has raised chubby ranchu for over 35 years says better than too much pellet food for such round body fish, he says will help them avoid swimbladder problems) he actually wants me to stop feeding pellet but haven't had heart to take away their favorite saki food yet.

As for how much I spent well let's say I have some $5 fish all the way up to a $150 fish.
I get most of my fish on auctions
Goldfishnet.com ( go to auction page Tommy starts one every Wednesday night at 8:30 pm central time ending 8 pm Sunday

But the best seller is ken he quarantines his fish for a minimum of 4-6 wks before he even puts them for sale. Does scrapes to check for parasites ect.. His auction is on
Goldfishconnection.com starts every other Sunday at 6 pm mst that ends same time following Sunday.

Right now he is in process of moving so he is having a no reserve auction and $20 off the shipping he has some great butterflies this time. He auctions around 100 fish each week. You really wanna watch each week because so different every time.

Heck you guys might all know about these auctions already I am new here so wasn't sure.

The black oranda and the red and white oranda are both some I got from last auction.  The ranchus in those pics are from Tommy. When I make thread showing all
My fish I will say where I got them if people want to know. If I can post link to YouTube in here I will show some videos too.

Well hope someone finds this helpful.

Oh and by the way Tommy has a couple of ranchu on Goldfishnet auction right now that are very similar to some  of mine in the pictures.

I am regularly checking out Goldfishconnection.com, but I can't order anything from there since I'm not from the States, it breaks my heart :C

I've got the Saki-Hikari food as well! My children love it! Cheesy

There is a more affordable site that has the lowest shipping costs I have seen and he has a great reputation also. I know I saw a thread where one of you was looking for a calico oranda but can't find it so thought I bring it up in here incase that person looks. But this guy has a few calicos right now ranging price from $20- $100 saw a few for $20-40 and I know in spring he will have way more selection. It's

I haven't bought here yet but spoke too many who have and have gotten all good feedback. He is based in Hawaii I know he ships to states but nit sure of anywhere else you would have to check. I am planning on getting one of his pearlscales asap.
