Hi guys, I did another gravel vacuum and the white spots didnt come back today. I am proud of myself for keeping it "at bay" so to speak, I catch it right as it's starting, do water changes, add salt and vacuum the gravel and it seems to go away for a few days. I might try RidIch first, I've heard good things about it. If that doesn't do the trick, I am going to try the medicated food. I have read quite a few articles about it and one mentioned that keeping the light off for a day or two after treating the water helps minimize the possibility of re-infection. Is there any truth to this? Unfortunately I dont have a heater for my tank, I will get one eventually if these steps dont work. On a side note, my fish have gotten a lot bigger
Even my boyfriend who likes the fish but is somewhat indifferent called them cute the other day
My bigger oranda's wen has grown and he's got a chubby little belly...they make me so happy
