costipated orange oranda medium sizes male

hi my poor baby medium sized oranda is cosipated . i went to petco to see if they can do anything but they said try peas but, he is still upside down all day .they use too have the medicene that u could give to thembut they don't sell them anymore is there a medicine i could give him online i can order?

Try raising the water temp to 80F and add 1/4 tsp of EPSOMS salts per gallon of water.
Leave it in for at least 4 days then do a 25% water change and repeat treatment.
Try to drop pieces of epsoms salts in front of him and see if you can get him to eat a piece or two.

Ok, then did you try feeding him an antibiotic fish food?
He could have a bacterial infection.
Petsmart sells it...it's made by Jungle.
AND BTW have you checked your water quality?

Sorry, sorry, you sure you tried adding Epsom salt and not normal salt?
There's a difference. And have you tried fasting the fish for a few days and THEN feeding the peas? Other vegetables besides the peas do good too, like zucchini, lettuce...
