As long as you have a mature tank that has finished cycling (which means your ammonia and nitrite levels must be at 0), your tank should be fine if left unattended for 2 weeks. Just do a 50-60% water change and vacumm the gravel just right before you leave. If you want to use a fish feeder , get a good quality one instead of the cheapest, since a bad feeder can dump too much food into the water and polute it. I've had success using a brand called the eheim everyday fish feeder. If you do get this brand , lay the fish feeder on a paper tower on a table and adjust the amount of food you want to dispense for the fish. Press the manual button a few times so the drum will turn, which will allow you to see how much food is dropped each time. Do this until you are satisfied the amount is just right for your fish. I recommend you only feed 1 time per day at most when you are away from home. Also make sure you secure any fish feeder so that it doesn't accidently fall into the tank.
