Need help!
« on: September 29, 2014, 08:52:43 AM »

My pearl scale goldfish can't stay on the bottom of the tank anymore without swimming. The second she holds still she floats to the top very fast. She now sleeps at the top because of it. Does anyone know what's wrong?

Yes, this is a swim bladder problem. It can be solved by feeding your fish skinned peas once a day.

Good luck!

Hi it is swimmers bladder try boiling peas fresh or frozen not tin peas. Remove shell and mash pea up 1 or 2 peas a day for 3-7 days. If this does not help it might be an swimmer bladder infection and will need antibiotics . also try going/phoning  an aquarium store for advice. Swimmers bladder is very treatable and your fish should be ok.
