So my goldfish has been acting very strangely for the last few weeks. He's been swimming around super fast and swimming up and down at the tank sides. I've even occasionally seen him swim right into the glass! I first noticed when at night I would continually here plops. I soon realize he was going so fast he was causing ripples! So I started watching and that's when I noticed. I got Tim about a year ago at a birthday party. It was my little cousins 2nd bday so I felt bad and decided to take one home. We weren't really prepared to have a fish so we had to put him in a bowl for a week. I don't know if he was scarred by what he was originally in because it was this super tiny tuberware. He barely fit in it
. So soon we were able to get him a real tank. It's only one gallon and it came with a plant already so I didn't have to worry about that. He was ok for the first year and a half but this was around the time when I started noticing his problem. His tank also came with some liquid that's supposed to make his water more "natural" so idk if that helps. I also cleaned his tank yesterday in case that would change anything. Any helpful suggestions??
