Help: my goldfish suddenly die.

Yesterday, three of my gf suddenly die. In the abdomen there are signs of redness and the scales are peeled off, as it is wound in internal organs.
Before this happen, I feed the gf with  JBL GOLD Pearl food. I just bought this product, so this is the first time feeding my gf with this product.

Is this food poisoning? or else?

So sorry to hear of this Andy Sad I'm not familiar with this product myself. Perhaps someone has and will post their thoughts on it. In the meantime I hope any of your others goldies are going to be ok if they too ate this product and you hold off feeding any more of it to them until some explanation presents itself. Actually, i dont know wheter it cause by food product or something else.
assume that the food is ok, what causes fish belly become red like bruise and lost scale

Both mom and I've been using this food, and it's a very healthy and good goldfish food Cheesy It contains mostly natural ingredients, and nothing that would be bad or unnecessary for your fish! Smiley Need I mention that her fish are like two big fish balls? xD

Red belly is a sign of internal bacterial infections. Very hard to spot, and when the belly is finally red, it's impossible to save the fish. First symptoms (in my experience) can be a misshaped belly, rather lumpy and deformed, and a very lethargic fish. That's why the best thing to do now would be, if you have any fish left, to feed the rest with an anti-bacterial food to make sure it won't spread any further! It could be that the others already have it, so treatment is crucial!!

You should also, of course, test the water right away, post the results, and perform a 50-60% water change right away! If you want to, it could be good to add Melafix or something else to support the fish during treatment.
This is something horrible and very difficult to treat, so you can't wait with it Sad

I don't know this product, but Nossie does and I'd keep doing what she recommends.

not long i lost my goldfish too she was a lovely thing i miss her terrbley  she past away saturday  Cry Cry

thanks i miss her terrible  Cry i was in a right state when she went , my partner went out and bought me anouther 2 little fishys but thy not the same as my  other 1  just have to get to use to them now

I do miss my little Claymore incredibly much Sad But I wouldn't have been any less sad if any of my other babies would've died Sad

i hope i wont have to go thro wif it again its a horrible  feeling yeah  myne littles 1 are special and trixy tht passed away  Cry  yeah u will miss them and each day it gets harder i thought it be easyer but its not ahhhhhh  Angry.

Did you happen to have gotten your fish from Walmart?  I had gotten 2 goldfish from there about two years ago and they ended up dying with reddish looking gouges on their bodies.  I really regretted buying Embarrassed them from there, they ended up killing another fish that I had had for a long time.   Embarrassed

If you kept them all in that 5 gallon tank then it probably was from overcrowding and stress! Undecided
