Red Spot on Head
«

Hello,
My goldfish Pudgie has a red spot on the side of his wen that developed overnight; he is still eating normally and seems to be acting okay but I don't have a great deal of experience with this type of injury/illness. I was wondering if anyone could identify and/or recommend treatment for this ailment. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

That is one of the cutest fishes I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!
Anyway about the illness I think its just a color change all goldfishes change color after a while.

Don't worry, Sparkynixon, your goldfish is perfectly healthy! Because your fish displays no abnormal behaviors, is eating well, and has a pretty healthy appearance, I believe the fish is only obtaining the color of a red-capped lionhead. The wen is probably taking on a red color in an area due to the fish's genetics. There is little you can do to try to change it back to the way it was before, but I would say I think it's adorable!

That's one nicely colored spot
As already mentioned, the fish is perfectly healthy
If you're still concerned, you could test the water and, if needed, perform a 50% water change.
He's just lovely!
