In Memorium- Please Share

I am creating this thread as a place for people to mourn, remember, and celebrate their goldfish friends who have passed on.  Please share your poems, stories, memories, and pictures.  Here is an original poem:

My dear sweet fish has gone away
He said, "I'm sorry friend, but I can't stay.
"You may be sad and you may cry,
"But all that's born one day must die.
"For though I've gone to that Tank Above
"I'll remember always that you gave me love."
And so I dried my tears and then
Said not "goodbye", but "We'll meet again.".
My goldfish, my friend, though we must part
You'll be in my thoughts and swim in my heart.

My Samy was a Chinies fighting fish he was Blue & would swim around wehen you tapped the glass he'd come rate infront of you I miss you Samy

I would like to continue celebrating my 2 goldies,  but alas all is not well.  Everything  they do is  upside  down.     They constantly swim upside down, they swim upside down, sleep, eat.  Yet they seem healthy.  Any clues?

Hi sounds like they have a swim bladder problem.  Try feeding them, canned or frozen peas withthe skin removed for a few days.
If that doesn't help the try 1 TBS salt per every 5 gallons of water and an oral antibiotic fish food for a week.  If they aren't doing any better then they most likely have permanent swim bladder damage and will probably have to live out their life that way.

Then I need to post a little memorial for the most lovely little golden Oranda <3 He was named after the most awesome Space Marine commander *geek warning* Both of them had a mole Cheesy My fish had black edges around the fins, and a small, cute black dot on his right gill cover <3

R.I.P Marneus Calgar. I miss you :'c May you slay them unbelievers in heaven :'c

I cried for three days, starting when he was alive but I noticed that the treatment wasn't really helping :'c He was eating!! He wanted to live! Cry And I still couldn't help :'c

In case BubblesGold hasn't found this thread yet, I will post an In Memorium for Bubbles, who died in a tragic filter accident a few days ago.  RIP Bubbles, you were a good fishie.

In memory of my beautiful oranda pete :-( he was the most intelligent, most lovedand most special fish in my tank and he will be very sadly missed, not only by myself but his 5 tank family that he leaves behind :-(

Very sad and had a few tears when our little Blacky decided to swim to the big pond beyond.
She gave birth to a few more babies before she left.
Her little children are beautiful.

Thank you ladies so much... I'm still upset.... I think she got stressed with the boys wanting to mate all the time...
Brian got 4 more girls today also to make it easier for Teddy and Ginger....
