I'm so sorry for both of you Sad That's terrible Cry

Yesterday, my calico fantail, Fläkkis passed away :'c he was one of my very first own fish...
Same thing happened to him as to Popo, suddenly he was just floating around on his side, barely swimming. I was looking really closely, if he had swallowed any gravel, if hi scales protruded... anything! But not a sign of illness, he just died.

R.I.P Baby :'c
Here area a few (bad) photos of my little horse:

R.I.P Moe , my beautiful black and yellow comet. I had him only for a little over two weeks, but in that time I witnessed a very happy, active goldfish who had a fondness for filter bubbles. I was dumbstruck and heart broken when he suddenly took ill. Less than 12 hrs later he sank to the bottom of the 3 gal I had him in and took his last breaths.

I lost Finn last week, my young orange/white oranda, I had him for about 3-4 months and he was really getting big, his wen even started growing.  I went away one weekend after having been fighting off an ick infection for a few days prior...unfortunately the infection took over in only 2 days and killed him.  I got really attached to this fish for some reason, he was super friendly and I love his little imperfections, he had a bent tail fin.  I'm still not really over it, I like my other fish but he was def my favorite...  Here's a pic, he's the one on the right, this was taken when I first got him Sad

RIP Star, my common fish that I lost in the very beginning Sad

I have a nice commemorative drawing of him, that I'll put up when I have chance to scan it.

So all your current fish have been named after those that died?? (Got a bit confused since there's a Titan and a Galaxy in your signature!)

Even though it's been over a year I would like to remember my first fish, Michael-Quincy, a beautiful red oranda.  He died due to my ignorance and I like to think that thanks to him I have educated myself and now provide a good home for his siblings.  Michael-Quincy will soon be "immortalized" in a tattoo on my rib cage and back. To those of you who have lost beloved fish, please accept my sympathies. I had hoped I wouldn't have to post here, however, I woke up to find I had lost Sherbert. She has always had problems swimming and was with me for over 3 years. Last night she seemed a little off, but I didn't think to much of it, because she has never been very active. Unfortunatly she was called to the great fish heaven above.
RIP sweet girl, you will be missed dearly.

Thank you Nossie  Smiley Someone posted above, (and their right) non-fish owners feel "their just fish", but for those of us who own them, they become part of the family just like the other pets we own. They have personalities too, and I will miss her.
Your's and the others kindness means a lot.

Absolutely! I love my goldfish so much, they're just like any other pets, only less messy Wink No need to worry about the furniture or curtains when you leave them home alone xD

no rhyme or reason he looked perfect even when dead...water parameters spot on, I'll miss him he wasn't a fussy eater , and always had his dorsal up
