R.E.S.T  I.N  P.E.A.C.E

Penelope my precious, precious fantail who I will always remember with love

Elsie Amber my wonderful, gorgeous PomPom

Freashwater Pearl the l and Freashwater pearl the ll, Zip the survivor, Freckles, Spot, and Spaz all Feeder fish of which I loved dearly

Topaz my lovely oranda

I offer my condolances to your grievous loss
These fish we adore but now they are lost
However one day we will see them again
Across the Rainbow Bridge we'll swim
We'll see their shining bodies full
With angel wings and rings of gold
Our lost loves leave us not again
My pet, my love, my best friend
Cry not for the departed fish
Remember them and make a wish
They'll remember the tears you shed
When you found your favorite friend was dead
Cry not, for they swim amung the stars
To wait for you inside their hearts
For hearts they have, to the surprise of some
They'll remember where they came from
One day you'll see them race to you
You'll laugh and smile and hug them too
Cry not, beloved, we part no more
It's you my friend that I adore

You'll speak of things that have long past
Of coming home to see them at last
Of when you cared when they were sick
Of when you saw them grow so quick
Perhaps you didn't know them long
Perhaps you didn't say goodbye
They were weak but now they're strong
Swimming in the endless sky

Oh and Hanna I came up with an idea today to stop this from happening again. Maybe after the female fish have some babies you could separate them from the males? Just with a piece of glass or something. I've seen that happen before and it could just be a temporary solution without having to cycle a whole new tank. After they have a bit of a rest you could take it out Smiley

Thank you Andrea for the idea, unfortunately there is no way to put a separator in this heavy planted tank.
But Brian bought me 4 more females to ease the stress for the two ones left and tomorrow we 'll get another 2.
Some babies are almost grown up and ready for the petshop. Won't give them all away, will keep some of Blackys children.

Thanks all Smiley It's so nice to read your wishes Smiley
I'm doing alright though, I received the medicine today, now I'm only waiting for the medicated food still and then.. I'll be prepared in case anything similar will ever happen again!! I'm a little concerned that it may happen to Berry since she was from the very same shop and tank as Claymore and Marneus who both passed because of an internal bacterial infection..

Oh no, that's a bit scary Nossie. I think Berry would be fine as she would have had to show symptoms by now. I wouldn't be buying anything from that shop anymore  Angry Though I guess it might not have been their fault. It's good you are prepared and even if the slightest symptoms show you can attack them straight away!

Andrea: That's the scary thing about this disease, the symptoms usually show too late to treat Undecided But she hasn't shown any of the problems Claymore or Marneus had, so I'm pretty sure she's alright Smiley
And NO, I won't go to that shop anymore. It's pretty far away in the first place, and it smells pretty bad in there. If it wasn't for the fact that the orandas were so cute, I wouldn't have bought anything from there! I needed to save at least a few of them D: (Horus was there too, so he counts!!) I'd rather get all my fish from shops I trust Smiley Like the one that will order a few pearl scales for meeee Wink

Hanna: I agree! That medication seems really strong, so I bet it'd do the trick as soon as anything would show. But the less medication you use, the better! Cheesy I was thinking about trying to find some Melafix for mom lately, since I used the last few drops of her anti-bacterial medication, and she doesn't treat anything else but wounds on the tail of her goldfish anyway Smiley The poor old man tends to be bullied :C

I love how your mum loves goldfish too  Grin I can understand why you couldn't resist those Oranda's, especially Claymore. I really see anything but the red cap ones, though they are very cute too.

But a pearlscale?? Aw yay, I can't wait to see photos. Are they little babies or a bit more grown up? I love their bellies Smiley

If you would've seen the tank with all those beautiful, special fish you would've brought a bunch of them home too! They were so beautiful together! Smiley But they quickly decreased in numbers, I really hope they did because people were buying them...
There was this beautiful, all white oranda that mom liked very much Smiley Now as I think of it... I have no idea why she didn't buy it! D: Maybe the tank would be a bit too small...

The pearl scales will most likely be around 3-4 cm big, babies Wink If I remember the info on the site correctly! I can't wait to have those small balls swimming around! Cheesy I noticed that they have lots of amazing fish on that page, so I'll probably be ordering both bettas, cichlids and possibly plecos through that shop! Cheesy They also had some Panda telescopes! Smiley
