Blue shubunkin?

Can these fish come in a blueish color? I received a fish that she claimed was a Shubunkin goldfish. It is light blue, pearl and has lovely iridescent colors on its side. The body shape is perfect but the color was throwing me off. I know it will get large and I have the resources to accommodate his growth, that is why he was given to me.

A shubunkin must be narcreous calico or it is not considered a shubunkin. If it has black and red (even in a small amount) on top of the blue and a mix of matte and metallic scales then it may be a shubunkin.

Hmmmm I think there are so many variations within Shubunkins for colour, for example the Midnight Shubunkin is just black and white, so it is possible you could have a Blue Shubunkin. Maybe you could post a picture?
