She's not very fond of the camera and it is hard to get a good pic of her cheeky little hen!

What a lovely fish! My hubby and I were talking about how they need to make a golfish calendar, and I can just see that picture in it!

Thank you Minde, Nicole and Abbie. I just entered one of her photos in a contest on aquapuppies so 'fins and tails' crossed
She has a little ways to go to grow into those peepers of hers ♥

Thank you Teetsy, Orandalover and Andrea
I love her colours too. Her head is quite red while the rest in the middle is a true orange and then red again on her tail. She is really starting to come to me now ♥

Thank you so much! I am really enjoying her and learning her personality. She makes me laugh all the time how she likes to stalk her food like she's moving in for a kill
Also she has reminded me of a miniature orca right from day 1 and I've got quite a soft spot for Killer Whales ♥ I must share an amazing story in 'the lounge' about an experience I had

I love how you are the Ryukin lady here April
I think I've said this before but I never really paid that much attention to them before but now I am officially in love and will definitely get one one day
Are they quite fast swimmers for an egg shaped goldie? Are they greedy and more like a fantail than lets say a Black moor? I imagine so

Aww I know what you mean Andrea
Looking at the pics of my sweet old Mr. T and how fast he grew when getting square meals, I can only imagine Jilly will do the same. She is eating like a little pony now and she is quick to get around. They say the Ryukins are adventurous goldies but I think that of all of them
each and every gorgeous one of 'em! They are ALL rockstars in my book ♥
Tomorrow marks 6 weeks since bringing her home from the store. I don't know what any other goldie is like except for videos I've seen. The ranchu's make me smile from ear to ear with their adorable rolly polly swimming maneuvers. And their chubby little cheeks eeeek!

Isn't that funny, I sit and watch her swim about and I'm amazed at her shimmering scales - they sparkle in some light
She's all shiny and new ☼ made this poster for my Dad's room at the hospital, hope to cheer him up ♥

That poster is very nice and a good idea because some places do not let flowers in the rooms.
Hope your dad gets to feeling better soon!

Thank you all so much! His eyes lit up with a big smile when I gave it to him today ♥ I know it looks kinda like something a kid would make but I just started coloring last night because I couldn't sleep and I love coloring as a stress reliever, plus I hoped it would cheer him up and hooray it did
He looked so sad when we came in today - tears in his eyes so heartbreaking but then he came around thank goodness. Still no improvement in his rhythm but not racing as fast as yesterday. Small steps and lots of love is the goal right now.
